VELVET REVOLVER REUNITE?
While there are plenty of famed rock bandshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif reuniting for big ticket concert tours, members of the Velvet Undergroundhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif will reunite for the New York Public Library.
Maureen Tucker and Doug Yule will join journalist David Fricke for a rare joint public appearance together on December 8 as part of the LIVE from the NYPL series where they'll discuss their history, music and legacy.
According to the events website All LIVE from the NYPL events are general admission. $25 general admission and $15 library donors, students and seniors with valid identification
PEARL JAM IGNITES!
Pearl Jam's TV Eyes Pearl Jam closed out last month's Austin City Limits Festival with a mindblowing performance, and beforehand they did a taping for the long-running ACL television show for 320 lucky fans, with the aid of a string quartet and one Mr. Ben Harper.
“I sometimes wonder how many more ‘firsts’ can there be, but I never dreamed I’d see the day that Pearl Jam would appear on the ACL stage, especially considering they seldom do TV,” said Austin City Limits producer Terry Lickona. “This will go down as one of our all-time classic shows, and one of the best Pearl Jam performances ever captured. There are some musical and emotional highs that gave me goose bumps.”
Pearl Jam on ACL setlist: Just Breathe, The End, The Fixer, Johnny Guitar, Amongst The Waves, Unthought Unknown, Army Reserve, Do The Evolution, Lukin, Red Mosquito (with Ben Harper), Inside Job, Porch.

WHITNEY HOUSTON ON DANCING WITH THE STARS
Whitney Houston will not only play Sunday's American Music Awards, the "Million Dollar Bill" diva will also perform on ABC's hit reality competition 'Dancing With The Stars' next week.
Set to close out the season, which recently named three finalists, including "Free" singer Mya, Houston will perform Tuesday, November 24.
As previously reported, Houston is also set to receive the AMA International Artist Award, an acclimation given to only eight other acts, including Michael Jackson, at Sunday's 37th Annual American Music Awards.
Houston joins Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys and more, who also take part in Sunday's celebration of music.

Jennifer Lopez Jennifer Lopez is ready to return to the music scene after a nearly three year break.
Set to release a new album early 2010, Lopez says the effort, contrary to rumors, has little to do with the father of her twins and husband Marc Anthonyhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif, but admits the title is "Love ?".
Speaking with DJ Skee of 102.7 FM this week, Lopez confirmed the title ("Love ?") of the album and dismissed rumors of trouble in her love life.
"It's no so much about my marriage as it is about my experiences," said Lopez. "When they hear the album they're going to know that it's about a lot of different things. I've always sung about love. Throughout my career it's been a big topic for me, but this was something I felt needed to go a lot deeper".
Not abandoning the success she's had with records like "I'm Real," "Glad," and "Get Right," Lopez says "Love ?" is full of uptempo records.
"I think it's consistent with everything I've always done. There's a little bit of urban, a little bit of pop and there's a little bit of dance.... a lot of uptempo."
"Love ?" is due for release early 2010.
In related news, Lopez will perform at Sunday's American Music Awards.

T.I. SET TO GET MARRIED
While T.I. is reportedly awaiting an official release date after serving over five months in prison, his longtime girlfriend and former Xscape member Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle is making wedding plans.
Speaking with XXL this month, Tiny says a "fairy-tale" wedding is being planned for sometime in 2010, when TI is released.
"Sometime [next] year, but we can't really give a date yet because we have to find out exactly when Tip is coming home," said Tiny. "We'll have to just plan around that, but I envision a fairy-tale wedding."
Since T.I.'s incarceration Tiny has kept busy with their children as well as entrepreneurial ventures and the BET reality show 'Tiny & Toya'.
T.I. was ordered to serve a one year and a day prison sentence in March.
LIL WAYNE HAS A LIL WAYNE!
R&B singer Nivea has given birth to her first child with Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne.
According to S2S magazine, the "Don't Mess With My Man" singer delivered a baby boy over the weekend.
This are no other details regarding the child's birth.
The newborn is Nivea's fourth child. She has three children with ex-husband/producer The-Dream.
